SparkLink ("we", "us") operates the SparkLink platform connecting UK homeowners with verified electricians. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this site.

• Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
• Quote requests: postcode, job description, photos, budget.
• Electrician profiles: company details, certifications, service area.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, usage analytics.

3. How we use it

To match customers with nearby approved electricians, manage your account, send service notifications, prevent fraud, and improve the platform. We rely on contract performance and legitimate interest as lawful bases under UK GDPR.

4. Sharing

Quote details (excluding your contact information until you accept a quote) are shared with matched approved electricians. We use Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for hosting and database services. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Quote requests are retained for up to 24 months to support warranty and dispute resolution.

6. Your rights

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No advertising trackers are used.
